New Moon in Cancer opens your psyche up. Tap into your dream state for the necessary answers.

 

Is there a part of you which is rough and unrealized? As the Moon dives into her dark phase about to shed new light on our Earth in the vigilant sign of Cancer, allow yourself to plunge deeply into the crust which has formed over your intentions and goals. The crusty crab wants to be close to those around her but like a wary mother, needs to feel safe and secure before allowing anyone into the inner sanctum of her psyche. This is the third Eclipse in this summer cycle and is the second Solar Eclipse in the series. As sited in my previous writing on June 1, 2011, the Solar Eclipse is a dissolution of ego. This particular event has a tight square to unsettling activity of unpredictable Uranus so be prepared for quick changes of plans. Earth signs beware to not place your childhood stuff out in the open given the opposition of Pluto the Alchemist in Capricorn as this is sure to cause you to lose your footing. Air signs be patient if you have a few bad hair days or unusual aches and pains in the coming months given the event is squared by Saturn. Be stalwart and steadily assertive while maintaining politeness, when making your point. The bottom line to all of you is to be forgiving of yourself.

Those of you gearing up to celebrate the July 4th holiday in the USA, please exercise an extra measure of caution as this weekend is sure to produce a record amount of traffic tickets. There is no reason to hurt yourself or others with irresponsibility. This weekend has a fertile potential for Air and Earth sectors as well. If working on a new project, keep a recorder or notepad handy. If you don't want to reproduce, use precautions! Later in the day, Mercury bursts into the gregarious fire sign of Leo. Projects take off now with a constant flow of ideas and inspiration. Those of you already adept at tooting your own horn keep it reigned in by channeling your energy into personal creativity.

July 3, the goddess of love, Venus slips into the sensitive realm of Cancer and trails behind the Sun in sozzled squares to Uranus. The rough ride continues for the next nine days. Go easy on your wallet and use your creativity to get through this rocky ride.

Breathe a sigh of relief and know that magic is afoot when mighty Jupiter trines transformative Pluto July 7. Stay tuned for repeat performances October 28 and March 12, 2012. Even if you are a sworn pessimist, this alignment will have you acting fiercely optimistic. Things that were destined to fail, suddenly turn around. Oh let it be the economy!

Historically, when unusual Uranus turns retrograde, he stirs up revolution. If you don't like this sort of thing, get your permanent marker out and place a warning symbol on July 9. The true self is about to expose itself so this is no time to put on airs or wear a mask no matter what your reasoning. You are transforming at a very rapid and most deep level. Repeat after me "There is no limit to what I can do!"

The Full Moon in Capricorn July 14, pulls on your need to seek a warm lap to curl up in or toughing it out in the trenches. Either way is a good choice. You have to make the call. No one but you knows what is the correct choice.

July 22 marks mid-season when the Sun enters loyal Leo. Here in the Northern Hemisphere it is midsummer. Exercise your ability to be strong, safe and secure with all decisions and choices. This is no time to wishy wash around. Take the risks, extend a little further and keep a humble respect to all involved. I am not saying be egotistical and snooty, just push it a little harder.

Venus gets a little lusty when she enters the theatrical stage of Leo July 28. So as not to make a mess of your relationships, spend time in the morning disorienting in adoration at yourself. Look deeply into your own eyes and say "I love me!" I am serious, do it! In all relationships, be full of heart. Do whatever it takes to be sure this is how you are coming across. The moment the ego gets too intense, it is all over.       

Later the same day mental Mercury floats into Virgo, but even his analytical prowess can't save you from any potential mess you create. If you do botch things up you have a retrograde period beginning August 2 to clean things up and mind you, when he floats forward into Virgo again September 8, you will have to clean things up!

This Solar Eclipse may force you to let go of something you thought was very dear to your heart. This can leave you feeling very confused and disoriented. When things seem to slip between our fingers, we must remember that we come into this life with nothing and that is how we leave. So, practice being less attached and let your soul evolve. Remember, Eclipses set a tone until the next Eclipse cycle which is late November so buck up and do the best you can!

Slow things down. You have been keeping a ridiculous pace and should you continue, burnout is inevitable. Do not under any circumstance let your cocky side challenge authority. This will cause a great catastrophe. Buck up and face the music. It is time to pay for what you have been hiding. Cleaning the slate right now is a good thing. Take the bumps and see them as strengtheners for your future.

       
Cancer June 22/23 to July 22/23

Stay involved in as much as you can rather than retreating and giving up. This means you have to reach way outside of your comfort zone to plug into your new community. Think way outside the box. The half-hearted investment of energy is easily turned into profitable reality with very little effort. All you have to do is believe. So, what are you waiting for? Get creative and motivated. It is time to make the changes you think you deserve.

               
Leo July 22/23 to August 23/24       

Think things all the way through and weigh out all possibilities before making decisions. Remember this is a six-month period. Take time to clear out all old tapes in your mind and stuff from your physical closets. This is a reset point and it is up to you to do the tasks to make it happen. Trust your instincts!   

Virgo August 23/24 to September 23/24

All the excitement of the last few months wanes, which leaves you feeling a little lonely. There is no easy fix for these feelings. Don't fret! By the end of the month the excitement kicks up again and you feel new found energy. Tap into the unknown areas of your psyche to find any answers you need.

Though your navigational equipment had you plotted for a specific destination, you seem to be taking a much different course. Don't fight it. The original plan was set in action to get you here. Now your true destiny unfolds. Trust your instincts and work to stay as focused as you possibly can. The next six months bring unfathomable change.

Faking and sugar coating gets you "found out" and makes a bigger mess than the cover-up.

Remind yourself that everything is really an illusion. Practice detachment from the material and focus on the betterment and advancement of your thoughts and personality. If you created waves in the last few weeks it is time to get out your surfboard and find your way back to the stability of the shoreline. Being caught in your emotional body is disconcerting. Exercise faith and trust. By the end of the month you feel renewed and acknowledged.

You magically have a handle on the situations which had been stressing you. Get to work on these for the next two weeks. When you feel like you are up against a wall, sink back into a more soothing pace. The final outcome is way off in the distance. There is no need to see the end of the tunnel just yet. Enjoy the positive signposts and learn to celebrate the small successes. The true goal is self-realization!
