One task at a time is far better then a mussiness of multitasking. Slick objects appear to glimmer and sparkle more in the dark. Shed light on all situations prior to making decisions. This is the best way is to be clear on all of the facts.
One shiny object confusing the masses right now is the second coming of the Mars Hoax! People, back in 2003 circulated fantastic stories about this same phenomena. Back then Mars was actually closer then it is about to be, this time around. Did you see Mars as big as the Moon in August of 2003? No, you did not. The only way to see Mars as big as the Moon is with a spaceship!

As for the current sky, I have the juicy low-down on what is going on. What you can see right now is far more interesting then a make pretend oversized planet! Look up in the early dawn sky and witness the coming convergence of Mars and Venus. Dedicate this entire month to their sacred union which will occur on June 21 at the fifteen-degree midpoint of Taurus. Want love? Want more spice in your existing relationships? Offer honey and flowers to these celestial lovers.
To really understand what this heavenly union is all about let’s look back in time. It all started like this. Long ago, in ancient Greece, there was a contest to name the most beautiful goddess. The field was narrowed down to three fabulous feminine choices: Juno, Pallas Athena and Aphrodite. Zeus was appointed to choose the winner. The smart man declined. Great idea on his part as Juno is one of his wives, Pallas Athena his daughter and Aphrodite a.k.a. Venus, well think of her as an employee.
Zeus being the diplomatic leader, stepped down and suggested a shepherd named Paris to do the judging. Paris was not asked to look at the physical beauty of the goddesses, but rather to name the fairest by choosing which of their gifts he would accept. Juno offered to make him the ruler of Europe and Asia. Pallas Athena assured him that he would lead the Trojans to victory over the Greeks. Aphrodite offered him the fairest woman in the world. Paris gave the golden apple, the symbol of victory, to Aphrodite. The goddess in turn lead him to Helen of Troy, the wife of Menelaus.
All of Mount Olympus revered Aphrodite as a beauty. It is easy to think that this may have gone to her head at times. The goddess married Vulcan, the god of the forge. He was a hardworking, stable husband. Unfortunately this was not enough to keep this hot siren enraptured. She proceeded to have several torrid affairs. Keep in mind, Venus is not the goddess of marriage and commitment so much as she is the goddess of love. Marriage is Juno’s territory.
Vulcan suspected his delicious goddess of being up to something and devised a trap. He told her he was going away for a long weekend to his home island of Cypress. Prior to his departure, he created a golden net and hit it in the ceiling. Aphrodite (Venus) invited Aires (Mars) over for a booty call and Vulcan trapped them in the thralls of passion.
I believe the bottom line of the story is that it is tough being a slave to love. We can get so wrapped up in amor that we forget all of the grounding and mundane aspects to our existence. Passion seduces us, yet we must learn to have it all so that our intensely passionate sexual encounters are interwoven with trust and encompass a heightened spiritual connection.
May 27, Jupiter and Neptune meet in what is the first of three conjunctions in Aquarius. The very next day on May 28, Neptune begins his retrograde cycle until November. Spiritual awakening visits us for a moment and then drifts into a misty and confusing realm. Rather then trying to make sense of your spirituality make an effort to participate in it on a daily and moment to moment basis. Stop trying to make your spiritual self fit into a box. Instead let each footstep light up everyone around you with love.
Am I the only one who feels like Mercury has been in retrograde for months? It is amazing how this particular passage of the trickster’s retreat has made time pull like taffy when it comes to trying to get clear. I am not one to experience headaches but during this cycle I have had my share of them. In addition I have experiences strange time warps and quickenings. Finally on May 30, he begins his station to go direct. Hallelujah!
May 31, has the Warrior Mars beginning a month of living the agrarian lifestyle. It is tough to place our forceful, sexy, aggressive self into the role of husbandry. This is due to Mars’ stint in Taurus. Take care to evaluate what you are feeling driven toward. The earthiness of Taurus dampens the flames of Mars and makes this part of you more vulnerable. I plan to use this as an inspiration to organize and clean areas up which have been sitting in limbo. This is always a great devotion to making a welcoming space for the glory of new people, places and things to come into your life.
Mars awaits the joining with his lover Venus. He catches his first glimpse of her when she wiggles her toes in the dirt of Taurus’ earthy realm on June 6. For the next fifteen days the lovers will saunter closer until they come together on June 21 at the 15-degree midpoint of Taurus. Look in your chart to find what heavenly bodies are on or within two degrees of this Earth sign. Trines point to a smoothing out of relationships. Where this takes place in your chart is critical to your relationships at all levels. You could find your freaky side out in the open as never before leaving you quite exposed.
Mercury floats forward into Gemini and brings closure to the communication stressors of the past few weeks. This is your opportunity to be clear and speak your heart. Quite rapidly your mental prowess returns.
Zeus goes to Mount Olympus for his summer retreat of retrograde motion beginning on June 15. He reaches back to the point of 17 degrees Aquarius. For the next four months he remains floating on his lofty cloud until October 13 when he turns direct. Aquarius in your chart represents where you relate to groups and find spontaneity. It is the part of you for which color and expression in integral. Jupiter in this realm brings a grand energetic supercharge. Your desire to forgo a vacation to just be at home may occur. Go with it. Pretend that you left. Unplug the phone and computer. Get into just being in your space. Be still and meditate with Jupiter. Equally an insatiable need to travel to places you have been in the past can overwhelmingly sweep you off your feet. Upcoming personal transits determine what is destined to happen for you in the coming months.
